AMERICAN - THE BADGE OF HONOUR
This week i used to be browsing through the online searching
for inspiration and that i did not have to travel too so much...
On the BBC News page there is a commentary a few gent
referred to as Mort Berkowitz, a badge maker WHO will apparently predict the
results of the Ohio state presidential elections.
I must confess i used to be braced for a few quite 'Paul the
Octopus' kind of revelation, however in actual reality it's a lot of easier.
Mort has manufacturing a range of badges (apparently referred to as 'pins' in
America - a touch odd since the pin is that the bit on the rear of the badge...
however i am obtaining sidetracked) to sell within the run up to native, state
and presidential elections since 1976 and this year he has created a few
million of them.
Now the yankee sense of humour is not one that I perpetually
get... they virtually do not even spell it right... however a number of Mort's
work is pretty clever and, dare I say it amusing. In 1996 then initial girl
Hillary Rodham Clinton got a a badge-based basketball makeover, being
integrated with NBA wizard Dennis for the 'Hillary Rodman Clinton' badge.
But if that is too delicate for your tastes then however
regarding Associate in Nursing providing for this year, poke fun at the
